The film mirrors my Jewish paternal family's exile from Egypt to Israel and the story of the last Jewish women in Egypt who never left. Private and public archives meet to question Jewish Arab heritage, contemporary Jewish identity and the instrumentalization of history that results in occupation and the annihilation of Palestinian people.
